Goplay is a Bluetooth game controller developed by Kanex for mobile gaming. Unlike traditional game controllers, Goplay is compact and highly portable, making it incredibly easy to carry alongside a smartphone. Its protective case includes a specially designed groove that securely holds the phone, enabling users to comfortably and effortlessly operate the controller with both hands while playing various mobile games.

Pull design team and I were responsible for creating and refining the controller’s protective case. After in-depth discussions with the client, we identified that integrating a reliable phone stand was an essential feature for this new gamepad case. Through extensive testing of multiple solutions, we discovered that maintaining balance was crucial when the case was used to support a phone or tablet. The final design successfully supports devices significantly larger than the case itself, ensuring both high stability and usibility.
